Founded on the beautiful Sunshine Coast, The Kindness Collective is an initiative that aims to bring members of the community together and improve wellbeing through free events, classes, and workshops.
A little insight into
The Kindness Collective
The Kindness Collective began as a means of assisting those who may be going through a difficult time in their lives, struggling with anxiety, depression, or loneliness. In these states, we often find ourselves stuck in thought patterns that tell us we are not enough, that nobody cares, and that we are alone in life. These same thoughts may ignite feelings of shame that stop us from being vulnerable, opening up to our friends and strangers, and from even seeing the loving communities that surround us.
The Kindness Collective, in bringing together thousands of open-hearted residents of the local community through a variety of events, aims not only to inspire moments of joy, but to remind people that kindness, love and support exists everywhere, and that to ask for help is a strength, not a weakness.

'The Game That Turns Strangers Into Family'
Listen Up is a tabletop board game developed by The Kindness Collective to empower families, friends, and communities to build stronger relationships, promote vulnerability, and create supportive spaces where everybody feels safe to reach out in their time of need. Through a diverse range of both fun and deeper, more meaningful questions, this game creates a light-hearted space where people can connect and appreciate the wealth of stories and experiences that make up our communities, while building greater respect and empathy in close relationships.

KEEN TO SUPPORT OR GET INVOLVED?
As a social enterprise that receives no government funding, it is both the mission and challenge of The Kindness Collective to ensure that the majority of our events are made accessible to everybody, regardless of financial situation. As a result, our events are run on an 'optional donation' basis. For those who have the means to do so and would like to offer their support to The Kindness Collective and our community activities, the best way to do so is through our Patreon, which provides us with a monthly income to help with administration and web hosting costs, support our hosts, and implement ideas to expand the initiative.
Additionally, if you run a business or organisation and would like to become a sponsor for The Kindness Collective in return for any promotional service or other benefits that we may offer, then please contact us at email@example.com.
